In 2007, Allison joined Davis & Harman LLP as an associate in the employee benefits group. Allison’s practice encompasses both ERISA and tax issues, focusing on compliance, regulatory and legislative matters. Prior to joining Davis & Harman, Allison was an associate in the mergers and acquisitions group of a large international law firm.
Allison was drawn to Davis & Harman by the firm's small size yet national presence in the employee benefits field.
“Davis & Harman provides a unique opportunity to develop skills in all facets of employee benefits, ranging from employment taxes to executive compensation to cafeteria plans. As a result, I am better able to serve the firm’s clients.”
As a law student at Harvard, Allison served as an editor for the Harvard Journal of Law and Gender and as co-chairperson of the sports division of the Harvard Committee on Sports and Entertainment Law. While pursuing an LL.M. in taxation at Georgetown, Allison interned with the Senate Finance Committee, where she focused on the tax treatment of charitable organizations.
